MACKENZIE RIVER COMMUNITY NIGHT
MacKenzie River Pizza and CDAIDE invited local residents to dine at the restaurant and 20% of the meal dollars were donated to CDAIDE.
At this event, we were able to meet with many of the servers and explain the mission of our organization. This has become a model we will use as we begin to spread the word about CDAIDE more actively in the community.
In 2019 we moved to The Coeur d’Alene Resort for this event and sold over 250 tickets at $25 each.
We featured complimentary appetizers by four chefs from the Lodge at Carlin Bay, Black Rock, Fleur de Sel, and Candle in the Woods; these chefs also auctioned off private dinners in our live auction. We also had a raffle for jewelry created by Cheryl Burchell.
Our profits were close to $34,000.

AFTERNOON COFFEE BREAK
Our friends at Evans Brothers hosted an afternoon coffee break for Coeur d’Alene area hospitality workers. There was live music and complimentary appetizers, and 20% of purchases were donated to CDAIDE.
Our first major fundraiser was held at Taphouse Unchained and Tito’s Italian Grill. We distributed complimentary tickets for the spaghetti dinner and over 100 people showed up to hear about our new nonprofit. There was a silent auction held in both venues and a live auction featuring chefs from Beverly’s, Fire Artisan Pizza, Tito’s Italian Grill and the Inland Northwest Culinary Academy.
We netted just over $18,000.
