Dennis White is a 5-year resident of Coeur d’Alene having moved to CDA from Colorado after
retiring from a 49-year career in community banking. During his time as a banker, he served on
numerous nonprofit boards of directors including Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, Colorado
Bankers Association, The Eisenhower Foundation, First Presbyterian Church, and several
economic development councils.

He graduated from Hastings College in Nebraska where he earned a B.S. degree in Economics
and where he was also able to continue his love of sports becoming a 4-year letterman on the
basketball team. His family includes his wife of 59 years, Sherry, two daughters, seven grandchildren, and a yellow lab named Tilly. His hobbies include fishing, golfing, and reading.
