Rebecca teaches college English, most recently at Gonzaga University, and has extensive experience in nonprofit development. She has founded or co-founded a number of nonprofit organizations, including the Downtown Baltimore Family Alliance, the Patterson Park Public Charter School, and the Baltimore Education Coalition. In Coeur d’Alene, where she has lived since 2011, Rebecca co-founded the Coeur d’Alene Education Partnership and Raising Idaho Standards for Education, which she currently chairs. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Brown University and a PhD in English language and literature from the University of Michigan.
